On June 11, "2022 High-Quality Hospital Development Summit Forum in conjunction with the commendation meeting of‘Salute Heroes, Convey Love’ Theme Works Collection Activity", jointly hosted by Chinese Medical Ethics, China Health Law Society, People's Medical Publishing House and School of Public Health of Xi 'an Jiaotong University (XJTU) Health Science Center, were held in East District (Yanliang district) of the First Affiliated Hospital of XJTU.
The meeting was held both online and in-person. Yu Chunfu, the second-level inspector of Health Commission of Shaanxi Province, Lyu Yi, Vice President of XJTU and President of the First Affiliated Hospital of XJTU, Wang Mingxu, Director of Health Reform and Development Research Center of School of Public Health of XJTU, and Ma Xinge, Party Secretary of our hospital attended the meeting and delivered speeches, respectively. Zhang Zongjiu, Executive Vice President of Institute for Hospital Management of Tsinghua University, Ma Xudong, Director of Medical Quality and Evaluation Division of Hospital Administration Bureau of National Health Commission, Xiao Yue, Researcher of China National Health Development Research Center and Comprehensive Evaluation Center of Drug and Health Technology, Yin Mei, Director of School of Humanities and Social Sciences of Harbin Medical University as well as presidents and party secretaries over 20 hospital in Shaanxi province were invited to deliver lectures and participate in the seminars,covering the interpretation of national policies and connotation, practical experience and theoretical innovation of major hospitals in Shaanxi province, high-quality hospital development-based hot issues. The images of medical staff who were fearless in the prevention and control work of COVID-19 pandemic were illustrated through the form of theme works. The connotation of high-quality hospital development was properly represented by the spirits of anti-epidemic and saving people’s lives. The opening ceremony was chaired by Zou Yuliang, Executive President of East District of our hospital.
Wang Mingxu introduced the theme works collection activity and presented awards to the outstanding works. Some of the award works were performed during the meeting.
Zhang Zongjiu, Executive Vice President of Institute for Hospital Management of Tsinghua University, Ma Xudong, Director of Medical Quality and Evaluation Division of Hospital Administration Bureau of National Health Commission, Li Yajun, President of Northwest Women’s and Children’s Hospital, Li Xiaolong, Party Secretary of Yan 'an University Affiliated Hospital, and Zou Yuliang, Executive President of East District of our hospital, delivered keynote speeches, respectively.
At the main forum, North Weihe River Two-way Referral Alliance was formally founded, which consisted of the first batch of more than 30 hospitals. The founding of this alliance is a new measure to further transfer high-quality medical resources to grassroots hospitals. Our hospital joined hands with multiple hospitals in the region of north Weihe river to play a more significant role in enhancing the overall medical service level in this region,effectively provide high-quality medical services for more people, and contribute to the construction of Healthy China and Healthy Shaanxi province.
In the afternoon, two sub-forums of High-quality Hospital Development and Hospital Humanistic Brand Building were held in the second session of this meeting. A total of 19 experts, scholars, and leaders from tertiary hospitals from Shaanxi and other provinces were invited to give themed speeches, attend round-table seminars and offer suggestions for high-quality hospital development.
