To further promote the high-quality development of Chinese hospitals and explore a novel path of hospital development and reform under the new situation, "Chang’an Summit on Hospital High-quality Development in China" was successfully held in Shaanxi Hotel on May 21, 2022. The summit was launched both online and offline with the theme of "Strive for a new era, Together for a shared future, Promote hospital high-quality development in China".
Wang Shuguo, President of Xi 'an Jiaotong University (XJTU), Liu Baoqin, Director of Health Commission of Shaanxi Province, Zhao Xinyong, Chief Engineer of Shaanxi Provincial Development and Reform Commission, Professor Lyu Yi, Vice President of XJTU and President of the First Affiliated Hospital of XJTU and other leaders attended the summit in-person and delivered respective speeches. Mao Qun 'an, Director of Department of Planning, Development and Information of National Health Commission and Xu Shuqiang, Director of Department of System Reform of National Health Commission were invited to attend the summit online to interpret "how to achieve high-quality development of public hospitals under the strategy of Healthy China".
At the unveiling ceremony of "China Hospital Development and Reform Institute of Xi 'an Jiaotong University", 7 experts from the first-batch "counseling" construction affiliations of National Medical Center were invited online to share their advanced experience in hospital management, providing diverse ideas and models for seeking hospital high-quality development from different perspectives, and making more active explorations for high-quality development of public hospitals in the new era.
Finally, Lyu Yi delivered a report entitled "Science and technological innovationin engineering medicine supports the construction of National Medical Center". From the perspective of engineering medicine, he shared the construction ideas, characteristic projects, construction layout and innovative achievements by our hospital for building National Medical Center.
