After being elected as Director of the 1^st Professional Committee of Peripheral Vessels of Shaanxi Association of Integrative Medicine, Professor Tian Hongyan delivered a statement that "With social development and the aging population in China, peripheral vascular disease has become an important disease severely affecting people's lives and health. At the beginning of its establishment of this professional society, we will actively carry out and promote the knowledge of medical science, deliver care and assistance for health work in primary hospitals, and implement standardized training programs. Today experts and scholars are gathering here to focus on the topic of peripheral vascular diseases by integrative medicine, and jointly contribute to the promoting the diagnosis and treatment of peripheral vascular diseases in Shaanxi province and even northwest China."

Professor Tian Hongyan from the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi 'an Jiaotong University (XJTU) was elected as Director of the 1^st Professional Committee of Peripheral Vessels of Shaanxi Association of Integrative Medicine at the inaugural meeting in conjunction with academic seminar of the 1^st Professional Committee of Peripheral Vessels of Shaanxi Association of Integrative Medicine held on April 23, 2022. Chen Heming, Li Bo, Li Qianjin, Li Ya, Ma Jiancang, MaLei, Wang Chongbao, Wang Qi, Wen Jiansheng, Zhang Junbo, Zhang Running and Zhang Tuowei served as deputy directors. Professor Zhang Junbo from our hospital was elected as Director of the Youth Committee.
