Recently, Professor Li Hui from Department of Neonatology of the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi’an Jiaotong University (XJTU) was elected as Deputy Director of the 13th Professional Committee of Physiology and Psychology of Chinese Psychological Society during the Physiology and Psychology Conference of Chinese Psychological Society held in Beijing.
Professional Committee of Physiology and Psychology of Chinese Psychological Society was founded in 1979. Professor Pan Shu, Professor Shao Jiao, Professor Kuang Peizi, Professor Guan Linchu, Professor Lin Wenjuan and Professor Sui Nan successively served as directors of Professional Committee of Physiology and Psychology, currently compromising 50 members from 38 affiliations in 15 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities across China. Prestigious scholars and experts in the fields of psychology and related multi-disciplines were gathered to make contributions to the development of psychology in China and international exchanges.

Professor Li Hui is a member of World Association for Infant Mental Health (WAIMH), the founder of Professional Committee of Infant Mental Health in China, and a student of Professor Brazelton from Harvard Medical School, the founder of neonatal and infant behaviors worldwide. Professor Li Hui carried out the research and development of "Observation and Early Intervention of Neonatal and Infant Behaviors" technology, which has been widely promoted in China. She is also the pioneer to establish intervention systems for neonatal and infant sports, music and language training, etc. She also posted 160 guidance and science popularization articles focusing on maternal and infant mental health through WeChat official account. Professor Li Hui was invited to give a special lecture at World Congress of Neonatal and Infant Psychology. She has drafted, as Editor-in-chief, two textbooks in this field, and participated in the revision of Guidelines for Assessment of Behavioral Disorders of 0-3 Year-Old Children.
