At the recent Cardiovascular Conference of Chinese Preventive Medicine Association held in Shenzhen, Prof. Mou Jianjun from the Department of Cardiology of our hospital was elected as the Deputy Director of the second Cardiovascular Prevention and Control Committee, Chinese Preventive Medicine Association.Academician Gu Dongfengwas elected as the Director, and Huo Yong, Sun Yingxian, Wang Jian’an, Li Nanfang, Mou Jianjun and Lu Xiangfengwere elected as theDeputy Directors.
Under the new situation of fully implementing the "Healthy China" strategy, deepening the reform of medical and health system and promoting the health of the whole people in China, actively promoting the prevention and control of cardiovascular diseases has become an important direction and task in the cardiovascular field in China. The Cardiovascular Medicine in the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi 'an Jiaotong University (XJTU) is one of the largest and strongest disciplines in the northwest China, which integrates medical treatment, scientific research, teaching and preventive health care. It is the only national regional medical center for cardiovascular diseases in the northwest China, the key clinical specialty of the National Health Commission of the People's Republic of China, the only key discipline of cardiovascular specialty in Shaanxi Province, Shaanxi Provincial Centre for Cardiovascular Disease Control and Prevention and Shaanxi Clinical Research Center for Cardiovascular Diseases. In the prevention and research of cardiovascular diseases, as well as the diagnosis and treatment level and technical ability of various acute, dangerous, critical and intractable diseases, it ranks ahead in the northwest China, and many technologies have reached the advanced level at home and abroad. In the discipline construction planning of the "14th Five-Year Plan", the Department of Cardiology Medicine also highlights the construction and development ideas consistent with the national "Great Health" concept.
Personal Introduction
Mou Jianjun, professor and chief physician, received the first title of "National Famous Doctor", "Sanqin Talent" and "Excellent Scientific and Technological Talent of Ministry of Health". He is currently the Vice President of Cardiovascular Disease Hospital, the First Affiliated Hospital of XJTU, and also serves as the Director of Department of Cardiovascular Medicine.
Prof. Mou Jianjun has been engaged in clinical and research work of cardiovascular diseases for more than 30 years, and his main research direction is basic and clinical research of hypertension. He has presided over 7 NSFC projects, and undertaken many key projects of Ministry of Science and Technology and national "863" and "973" projects. Outstanding achievements have been made in the identification of susceptible factors of primary hypertension, the pathogenesis and clinical research of hypertension, the treatment of refractory hypertension and the diagnosis of secondary hypertension, especially the research of salt-sensitive hypertension is in the leading level at home and abroad. He was awarded the 2016 Silver Award of International Clinical Research on Hypertension and the first prize of Shaanxi Natural Science 2020.
He is now the Deputy Director of the Cardiovascular Committee, Chinese Preventive Medicine Association, Deputy Director of Hypertension Branch, China International Exchange and Promotive Association for Medical and Health Care, Member of Hypertension Group, Chinese Society of Cardiology, Member of Cardiovascular Committee, Chinese Association of Pathophysiology, Standing Member of Hypertension Committee, Chinese Medical Doctor Association, Member of China Branch,International Society for Heart Research, Fellow of American College of Cardiology, Fellow of European Society of Cardiology, Deputy Director of Shaanxi Society of Cardiology, among others. He is also the editorial board member of Hypertension (Chinese Edition), ESC cardiovascular (Chinese Edition), Chinese Journal of Hypertension, China Circulation Journal and other Chinese and foreign journals.
