From January 7 to January 9, 2022, the 2nd Conference of China Hospitals Operating Performance hosted by the journal China Hospital CEO was successfully held online. The 2nd Conference of China Hospitals Operating Performance collected 418 practice cases, and made a horizontal comparison on these cases based on case content, performance of each national assessment indicator, pertinency and innovation of practical measures. Finally, our hospital was awarded the excellent case prize in the sustainable development unit by virtue of “Take multiple measures to practically promote the pairing assistance work”. Sun Miao from the Graded Clinic Office of Department of Medical Administration was invited to attend this online conference, and received our award as the representative of the winning unit.
Our hospital has been engaging in the pairing assistance with urban and rural hospitals for a long term. This is an important measure of the CPC Central Committee and State Council to fully implement the targeted poverty relief and alleviation, which can further improve the medical service capacity of county-level hospitals in poor counties and create medical conditions to reduce disease-causing poverty and re-poverty due to diseases. Our hospital practically promotes the pairing assistance with urban and rural hospitals, signs the assistance agreement with the assisted county-level hospitals, quantizes the targets of the pairing assistance work and gradually implements each task using the target management method to provide excellent basic medical care and health services for residents in the level of counties. These measures have achieved substantial assistance results. In the future pairing assistance work, our hospital will continue to make progress together with the assisted hospitals, enhance the pairing assistance results and help the assisted county-level hospitals to develop into the third-class hospital.
