Recently, the kick-off meeting of China Liver Failure Blood Purification Diagnosis and Treatment (Yuanhang) Project in conjunction with the inaugural meeting of Artificial Liver Diagnosis and Treatment Center of Shaanxi Province were successfully concluded in the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi’an Jiaotong University (XJTU). This project was undertaken by Professor He Yingli, Deputy Director of Department of Infectious Diseases.
The kick-off meeting of "China Liver Failure Blood Purification Diagnosis and Treatment (Yuanhang) Project" in Northwest China was recently held in Xi 'an. The meeting was presided over by Li Zengde, Secretary General of Chinese Foundation of Hepatitis Prevention and Control. Professor Yang Xizhong, Executive Vice President of Chinese Foundation of Hepatitis Prevention and Control, delivered a speech and presented the plaque to the project hospital. Professor Hou Jinlin, former chairman of Chinese Association of Infectious Diseases, gave an online speech. Chief Physician Li Zengde, Secretary General of Chinese Foundation of Hepatitis Prevention and Control, announced the Notification on approving the project hospital. Professor Chen Jinjun, Director of Project Executive Committee, interpreted the Research Planof this project. Professor Zhao Yingren, Director of Department of Infectious Diseases of our hospital, introduced the progress on blood purification diagnosis and treatment of liver failure in our hospital and delivered a speech. Professor Mao Xiaorong from Lanzhou University First Hospital, Professor Ding Xiangchun from General Hospital of Ningxia Medical University, and 78 medical staff from 17 hospitals in Northwest China attended the meeting. At the meeting, Professor Chen Jinjun from Southern Medical University gave academic lecture. Professor Liu Zhengwen, Professor Chen Tianyan and Head Nurse Du Fenjing from our hospital presided over the training meeting.
Professor He Yingli stated that relying on the liver disease project, establishing an advantageous disciplinary cluster of liver diseases in our hospital and establishing a liver failure treatment center in Shaanxi province are the best interpretation of National Medical Center and Regional Medical Center for Infectious Diseases, and he will spare no effort to lead the liver failure team of Department of Infectious Diseases to complete the national project with high quality and quantity.
Zhao Yingren, Director of Department of Infectious Diseases, illustrated the diagnosis and treatment of artificial liver in our hospital. Since the approval of "National Demonstration Center for Artificial Liver and Blood Purification Technology" in 2019, more than 900 cases of blood purification treatment have been carried out every year, bringing hope for more patients to survive. Guo Peng, General Manager of Artificial Liver Company of Jafron Group, proposed that Jafron team will support the "Yuanhang" project with professional technologies and attitudes, aiming to produce world-class evidence and assist achieving the goal of Healthy China.
Professor He Yingli from our hospital, Professor Mao Xiaorong from Lanzhou University First Hospital, Professor Ding Xiangchun from General Hospital of Ningxia Medical University, Head Nurse Guan Yuhua from General Hospital of Ningxia Medical University, and Nurse Zhou Xiaojin from Lanzhou University First Hospital delivered teaching lectures entitled Clinical Application of DPMAS Treatment, Comprehensive Treatment Strategy of Liver Failure,Selection of Blood Purification Treatment Mode of Liver Failure,Nursing Management of Artificial Liver Treatment and Incidence and Management of Complications in Artificial Liver Treatment, respectively.
