On August 28, "Plaque-presenting Ceremony of Member Affiliations of Shaanxi Provincial Association of Integrative Medicine in conjunction with Re-election Meeting of Professional Committee of Allergy of Shaanxi Provincial Association of Integrative Medicine" was held in Xi 'an, and the meeting was held in the forms of online and offline. Professor Mou Kuanhou, Director of Department of Dermatology of the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi’an Jiaotong University (XJTU), was elected as Chairman of the 2nd Professional Committee of Allergy of Shaanxi Provincial Association of Integrative Medicine.
The meeting was presided over by Professor Yan Xiaoning, Secretary-General of Shaanxi Provincial Association of Integrative Medicine. Li Yuming, President of Shaanxi Provincial Association of Integrative Medicine, Gou Licheng, Director of Office of Shaanxi Provincial Association of Chinese Medicine, Shaanxi Provincial Association of Integrative Medicine and Shaanxi Provincial Association of Acupuncture and Moxibustion, Wang Weidong, Director of Secretariat Office of Shaanxi Provincial Association of Integrative Medicine, candidate members and comrades from Secretariat Office attended the meeting.
First, the plaque-presenting ceremony of member affiliations of Shaanxi Provincial Association of Integrative Medicine was held.
Subsequently, Gou Licheng announced the approval document of Shaanxi Provincial Association of Integrative Medicine on approving the re-election of Professional Committee of Allergy of Shaanxi Provincial Association of Integrative Medicine, and then introduced the election methods and procedures of the re-election meeting.
The election of Standing Committee Member, Chairman and Deputy Chairman, Secretary-General, and other members shall be conducted by online software voting and offline anonymous voting, and shall be elected at the single-candidate election meeting. Finally, Mou Kuanhou was elected as Chairman of the 2ndProfessional Committee of Allergy of Shaanxi Provincial Association of Integrative Medicine. Zhou Yan, Ma Xiaoping, Sun Liping and other 11 comrades were elected as Deputy Chairman. Han Dan was elected as Secretary-General. Professor Feng Jie from Department of Dermatology of the Second Affiliated Hospital of XJTU was elected as Honorary Chairman. Professor Han Shirong from Department of Dermatology of Shaanxi Provincial Hospital of Chinese Medicine was elected as Consultant. Wang Lijuan and Ge Rui were appointed as Deputy Secretary-General.
Professor Mou Kuanhou, the newly-elected Chairman, stressed that in the future, the professional committee will focus on the research progress on integrated medicine in dermatology and promote the application of appropriate technologies in dermatology, strengthen the academic exchanges and cooperation in allergy-related diseases, accelerate the application of new achievements and technologies, advance the development and construction of allergy-related specialties, actively carry out academic exchanges and organize social welfare activities on a regular basis to better serve patients from urban and rural areas.
Li Yuming, President of Shaanxi Provincial Association of Integrative Medicine, delivered a concluding speech, hoping that under the leadership of the new disciplinary leader, Chairman Mou Kuanhou, Professional Committee of Allergy of Shaanxi Provincial Association of Integrative Medicine will be built into the most authoritative, extensive and representative academic exchange platform in the field of allergy. Professional Committee of Allergy will cultivate talents for the grassroots hospitals and act as a pioneer among all professional committees of Shaanxi Provincial Association of Integrative Medicine.
