On July 23, the 1st National Clinical Teaching Competition for Rehabilitation Nursing Young Teachers, hosted by Professional Committee of Rehabilitation Nursing of Chinese Association of Rehabilitation Medicine and organized by Zhejiang Provincial People's Hospital, concluded in Hangzhou. Qi Hongping, a nurse from Department of Rehabilitation Medicine of the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi’an Jiaotong University (XJTU) grabbed the first prize.
After preliminary selection at the provincial level, 103 contestants from more than 100 colleges and universities in China finally entered the nationalfinals. The competition was divided into the clinical group and college and university group. All the contestants fully demonstrated their skillful teaching and on-the-spot adaptability. Qi Hongping delivered a deep impression on the judges and audience through full preparation, intriguing course design, exquisite PPT display, smart teaching methods, cadence explanation, simple and clear explanation of the assessment of complex swallowing disorder, highlighted key points, proper teaching attitude and realistic simulation demonstration. She finally received the first prize after obtaining unanimous recognition and approval from the judges!
This competition fully demonstrates the strength of holistic nursing teaching in our hospital and rapid development of nursing, teaching and research in the specialty of rehabilitation nursing, which further showcases the spirit of working together, never giving up and pursuing excellence upheld by the nursing staff in our hospital. All of the nurses in our hospital will make due contribution to enhancing the teaching quality of rehabilitation nursing in Shaanxi province.
