From May 11 to 15, 2021, the 12th Chang 'an International Cardiovascular Forum (CIC2021) was successfully held in Qujiang International Convention Center. On the afternoon of May 14, Nursing Forum was successfully held under the anchor of Li Juanli, Head Nurse of Department of Cardiology of the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi 'an Jiaotong University (XJTU). CIC2021 was held both online and offline, and divided into three sessions: focus on acute and critical diseases and ensure clinical safety; pay attention to early cardiac rehabilitation and improve patients' quality of life, and share typical clinical cases of cardiovascular diseases.
At the opening ceremony, Yuan Zuyi, President of CIC2021 and President of Cardiovascular Disease Hospital of our hospital, and Li Wuping, Chairman of Shaanxi Nursing Association delivered welcoming speeches. Zhang Huali, Secretary General of Shaanxi Nursing Association, Director Xin Xia, Deputy Director Li Qiaoling, Deputy Director Li Jieqiong of Nursing Department of our hospital, Director Jiang Wei from Tangdu Hospital of Air Force Medical University, Shao Jifeng, Chairman of Professional Committee of Cardiovascular Diseases of Shaanxi Nursing Association, Yang Shengli, Chairman of Professional Committee of Internal Medicine of Shaanxi Nursing Association and other experts attended the forum. Hao Yunxia, Director of Nursing Department of Fuwai Hospital and Jiang Lin, Head Nurse of Peking University People’s Hospital attended the forum online.
Professor Li Qingyin and Professor Hao Yunxia from Fuwai Hospital of National Center for Cardiovascular Diseases gave intriguing lectures entitled "Training of Clinical Nursing Ability of Nurses for Critical Cardiovascular Diseases" and "Management of Drug Use Safety for Patients with Cardiovascular Diseases" via video connection. Professor Zhang Huali from Shaanxi Provincial People's Hospital delivered a presentation entitled "Nurses-Driving Forces of Early Exercise in ICU". Yang Xiaohong, Head Nurse of ICU of Department of Cardiac Surgery of our hospital gave a lecture entitled "Risk and Safety Management for Patients with Critical Cardiovascular Diseases". Professor Ren Jie and Head Nurse Liu Yingying from CCU of Department of Cardiovascular Medicine of our hospital gave themed presentations sharing the application and management of ECMO in patients diagnosed with critical cardiovascular diseases. The lecturers analyzed the management of critically ill patients from different perspectives, emphasized that clinical nurses in critical cardiovascular diseases should not only accumulate abundant knowledge, decision-making acumen, implementation ability and competence, but also pay extensive attention to the cultivation of clinical nursing practice, emergency management capability and critical thinking ability in clinical settings. Nurses should continually learn cutting-edge knowledge, master core skills and enhance team cooperation capability, thereby better serving the patients in clinical practice. Meantime, nurses should highlight the safety of medicine use in clinical settings, pay attention to early exercise of patients in ICU and deliver precise treatment and nursing for patients to ensure clinical safety.
Professor Liu Suixin from Xiangya Hospital of Central South University, Professor Guo Xiaolan from the Second Affiliated Hospital of Air Force Medical University and Professor Wang Rong from the Second Affiliated Hospital of XJTU gave lectures entitled "Risk Prevention of Exercise Rehabilitation for Patients with Coronary Heart Diseases", "Pathway Management Mode of Stage I Cardiac Rehabilitation for AMI Patients" and "Stage II Rehabilitation Process for Patients with Coronary Heart Diseases", respectively.
During the forum, typical clinical cases were selected from 5 hospitals in Shaanxi province entitled Postoperative Nursing Care for Patients with Implanted Pacemaker without Lead,Nursing Care for Patients Undergoing ECMO implantation after Chemical Ablation of Cardiac Hypertrophy,Nursing Care for Patients with Left Atrial Appendage Occlusion (double occluders),Experience of Management of 1 Patient Presenting with Hypotension after PCI for Coronary Heart Disease, and Successful Management of a 48-year-old AMI Patient with Recurrent Adams-Stokes Syndrome, respectively. These clinical cases illustrated the potential problems in the nursing process for patients with cardiovascular diseases from different aspects, providing reference and assistance for subsequent clinical practice!
