President Shi Bingyin leads a team to have an exchange meeting with Shaanxi Medical Products Administration

On the morning of February 23, President Shi Bingyin of the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi’an Jiaotong University (XJTU) led a team consisting of Feng Weiyi, Director of Department of Pharmacy and other 3 members to have an exchange meeting with Shaanxi Medical Products Administration. Ying Hongfeng, Director of Shaanxi Medical Products Administration, Deputy Director Qi Huili, Deputy Director Zhang Ping and the heads of relevant departments attended the reception meeting. Bilateral sides delivered exchanges on the transformation of scientific and technological achievements and the development of new drugs,etc. President Shi Bingyin mainly introduced the research platform of our hospital, MED-X Research Institute in the Innovation Port and research and development of innovative drugs, and put forward the difficulties and obstacles encountered by our hospital in the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, new drug research and development and registration application,etc. The counterparts from relevant departments of Shaanxi Medical Products Administration answered each question from the perspective of policy.

Director Ying Hongfeng addressed that the visit of President Shi Bingyin and colleagues also proposed a new question for the administration, that is, how to further improve the quality of service and promote the high-quality development. He also stressed that Shaanxi Medical Products Administration will assist the country in terms of policy consultation and guidance, allowing for the rollout of safe and effective new drugs and better serving the health of people.
