On January 5, 2021, the ranking list of Top 100 General Surgery Experts with the Highest Academic Influence in China was released. Five professors from Department of Hepatobiliary Surgery of the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi’an Jiaotong University (XJTU) entered the ranking list. Professor Ma Qingyong grabbed the 5th position, Professor Liu Chang ranked 29th, Professor Lyu Yi ranked 39th, Professor Liu Qingguang ranked 40th and Professor Tu Kangsheng ranked 54th, respectively.
