Two management projects of our hospital granted as typical cases of modern hospital management in China

Recently, the 1st Modern Hospital Management System Summit in conjunction with the 5th Chinese Modern Hospital Management Capacity Building and Development Conference hosted by National Health Commission Capacity Building and Continuing Education Center were successfully held. Two management projects from the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi’an Jiaotong University (XJTU) were granted as typical cases of modern hospital management in China.

With the theme of "New Opportunities, New Journey", the conference intimately follows the pulse of China's health reform and development under the normalization of COVID-19 prevention and control, focuses on the construction of China's modern hospital management system from all dimensions, shares experience and promotes consensus. During the conference, typical cases of modern hospital management were selected from over 900 cases nationwide, covering 16 dimensions, such as hospital strategic management, human resource management, performance management, discipline construction and scientific research management, informationization and health big data, humanity construction, refined medical insurance management, nursing management and logistics management,etc. After preliminary selection, internet voting, expert re-evaluation, final evaluation and defense, 142 cases were granted as typical cases of modern hospital management in China in 2020. The case entitled "Construction of Five-dimensional and Five-directional Training System for Middle-level Cadres in Public Hospitals based on Competency Model" submitted by the United Front Work Department of our hospital was selected as typical case of human resources management, and the other case entitled "Refined Management and Discipline Grouping of Department of General Surgery based on Two Systems in One Department" submitted by Anesthesiology Department was granted as typical case of nursing management.

This is the second time that our hospital receives these honorary titles since 2019.
