International online seminar of "India & China Together Fight COVID-19" was successfully concluded on May 28, 2020 (Beijing time). Medical staff from 28 countries including China, India, Bangladesh, China, Nepal, Indonesia, Myanmar, Africa, Europe, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, United Arab Emirates, Egypt, United States, Bahrain, Oman, Philippines, Thailand, Australia and Kuwait participated in the online exchange.

The seminar was jointly chaired by Professor Guo Youmin and Professor Yang Jian from Department of Medical Imaging of the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi 'an Jiaotong University (XJTU) and Dr. AK Chaturvedi from India. The opening ceremony was presided over by Dr. Josmeet Sahni. Professor Yang Jian and Professor Guo Youmin delivered respective speeches. Subsequently, Professor Jin Chenwang, Nurse Jia Xiaoqian and Dr. AK Chaturvedi from India shared the experience and responsibilities of radiologists in the fight against COVID-19.Chinese radiologists also shared their responses and measures against the pandemic with Indian counterparts. They also introduced the infection control interventions during the outbreak of COVID-19. Bilateral sides expressed that they benefited enormously from this exchange seminar, showcasing their spirit of courage and struggle against the pandemic and highlighting their confidence in defeating COVID-19 around the globe.

The online seminar ended up with round-table discussion and online Q&A session. Department of Medical Imaging proposed that although China has won the staged battle, the global situation is still non-optimistic. Through exchange and learning from Indian counterparts, they become more determined to defeat the pandemic and firmly believe that China and India will countinually create more legends in the medical field.
