On June 29, 2024, China-Mongolia-Russia International Forum on Hospital Management was held in Yulin, Shaanxi province, aiming to promote high-quality development of hospitals in China, Mongolia and Russia, and explore novel ideas, methods and paths for hospital management. The forum consists of three sub-forums, highlighting "hospital development strategy and multi-hospital district management", "integration and promotion of science and technology and medical humanities" and "medical quality and safety and hospital operation management", respectively.
Nearly 20 medical experts from Mongolia and Russia, multiple medical experts from countries along the "Belt and Road Initiative" and more than 700 Chinese experts and scholars were invited to attend the forum.
Relevant leaders of the First Affiliated Hospital (FAH) of Xi'an Jiaotong University (XJTU), Yulin Municipal People's Government, Asia-Pacific Office of International Cooperation Department of National Health Commission, Peoples' Friendship University of Russia, Chinese Hospital Association and XJTU delivered speeches, respectively.
In the main forum, Professor Gennady Alexandrovich Panov gave a lecture entitled “Hospital Development Strategies in Russia”, explicitly introduced the current situation, experience, key points and development strategies of medical center construction in Russia.
Yao Jianhong, Chairman of Professional Committee of Medical Humanity of Chinese Medical Doctor Association, delivered a lecture on "Let the Light of Humanity Shine on the Path of Medical Progress", explaining the concept of "People First, Life First" through cases surrounding the connotation and function of medical humanities.
Soyolgerel Gochoo, President of Mongolian Pediatric Association, contributed a lecture entitled “Improving Quality of Care for Children in Health System”, focusing on multiple topics such as improving the quality of neonatal care in Mongolia, how to reduce neonatal mortality rate, and establishing standardized care system for children, etc.
Fang Jiancheng, Member of Chinese Academy of Sciences, delivered a lecture entitled "Conducting Early Screening and Diagnosis of Major Cardiovascular and Cerebrovascular Diseases via Engineering Medicine and International Cooperation", illustrating the application and exploration of extremely weak magnetic measurement technology in cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases. He stressed that it is necessary to deepen the exchanges and cooperation in the field of engineering medicine among medical institutions and scientific research affiliations from China, Mongolia and Russia, joining hands to write a new chapter in health care in the new era and new journey.
You Mao, Deputy Director of China National Health Development Research Center, contributed a presentation entitled "Smart Hospital Assists High-quality Development of Public Hospitals", highlighting that informationization should empower high-quality development of public hospitals, illustrated three major contents, three major construction directions and three levels of smart hospital construction, and introduced the application status of digital intelligence technologies such as cloud computing, robotics, artificial functions, Internet of Things, blockchain and big data in medicine and health.
