On the afternoon of April 2, Dr. Safdar Ali Shah, Director General of Higher Education Commission of Pakistan, and Dr. Bilal Haider Shamsi, Postdoctoral Fellow of Zhejiang University visited our hospital for academic exchange accompanied by Yang Xiao from Department of International Cooperation and Exchange of Xi 'an Jiaotong University. President Shi Bingyin, Assistant to President Zou Yuliang, Assistant to President She Junjun, Huang Yanping, Director of Education Department, Deputy Director Liu Huasheng, Deputy Director Li Yan, Professor Qian Buyue, Chief Scientist of Internet and Information Department, Ren Hui, Deputy Director of International Exchange Office, overseas students from Pakistan and relevant staff from Department of Science and Technology attended the meeting.

President Shi introduced the history and current situation of our hospital to the visiting guests, highlighting the characteristic medical treatment, talent training and teaching characteristics, etc. He expected that bilateral sides can strengthen exchanges and cooperation in the future and make contributions to training more qualified medical students and improving the health and well-being of the people in Pakistan and China.

Director General Safdar hoped that the two sides can strengthen the cooperation in medical technology and talent training in the future, enable Pakistani physicians to share the exquisite and efficient technologies from Chinese counterparts, and improve the medical service capability in Pakistan. Dr. Bilal highly recognized the level of medical treatment, the rapid development and the training of overseas students of our hospital, hoping to strengthen collaboration with our hospital, utilize advanced medical technologies to bring benefits to the Pakistani people and join hands to build the "China-Pakistan health corridor".

After the meeting, Director General Safdar and his delegate visited the Smart Hospital of our hospital.
