On the afternoon of April 8, 2024, the First Affiliated Hospital (FAH) of Xi’an Jiaotong University (XJTU)-Lomonosov Moscow State University webinar on medical cooperation, organized by International Exchange and Cooperation Center, was held. Deputy Director Simon Teimurazovich Matskeplishvili and Gabbasova Lyalya Adygamovna from Medical Science Education Center of Lomonosov Moscow State University, and Arutyunova Yastrebkova Elza, Vice President of School of International Politics, and other experts attended the webinar online. Wang Xiaoqin, Director of Clinical Laboratory, Gao Yang, Deputy Director of Department of Urology, Suo Aili, Deputy Director of Department of Oncology, Cui Yanchao, Deputy Director of Department of Rehabilitation Medicine, Hu Jian, Deputy Director of Clinical Laboratory, Zhou Heping from Department of Cardiovascular Surgery, Zhe Jianqing from Department of Cardiovascular Medicine, Ye Xin from Clinical Laboratory of FAH, and Markos Arzumanyan, Representative of Lomonosov Moscow State University in China, attended the webinar in-person. The webinar was chaired by Yao Hongmei, Deputy Director of International Exchange and Cooperation Center.

At the meeting, Yao Hongmei introduced the basic profile, the development and construction achievements and a series of work related to international exchanges and cooperation of FAH. Subsequently, Gabbasova Lyalya Adygamovna introduced the development course, structural system and medical technology translation of the center, and highlighted the characteristic diagnosis and treatment approaches of Department of Cardiology, Department of Rheumatism and Department of Endocrinology, and the profile of Department of Laboratory Diagnosis. At the same time, Lyalya mentioned that the center has advanced digital medical technology, which can also be considered as one of the areas of future cooperation. In addition to medical diagnosis, Lyalya added that the center undertakes clinical practice training and teaching tasks for medical students, which is regarded as the cradle of medical education in Russia. Finally, bilateral sides conducted preliminary exchange and discussion on the areas of future cooperation.

Through this webinar, FAH and Lomonosov Moscow State University deepen mutual understanding, laying a solid foundation for future medical cooperation between two sides.
