On the morning of March 19, 2024, Professor AIDARALIEV Asylbek Akmatbekovich, President of International University of Kyrgyzstan, visited the First Affiliated Hospital (FAH) of Xi’an Jiaotong University (XJTU) for academic exchange.

Liu Qing, Director of Outpatient Department, accompanied Professor AIDARALIEV Asylbek Akmatbekovich to visit Outpatient Department and International Diagnosis and Treatment Department, and introduced daily patient admission and daily operation mode.

Subsequently, Professor AIDARALIEV Asylbek Akmatbekovich had a discussion meeting with Yao Hongmei, Deputy Director of International Exchange and Cooperation Center, Lu Xinlan, Deputy Director of Teaching Department, and Wang Bin, Deputy Director of Department of Human Resources/Director of High-level Talent Office in the meeting room of Science and Education Building.

At the meeting, Deputy Director Yao Hongmei explicitly introduced the development and achievements of FAH in discipline construction, medical technology, education and teaching, scientific research cooperation, as well as the key work of promoting international exchange and cooperation. Deputy Director Lu Xinlan and Deputy Director Wang Bin delivered specific explanations regarding the education of international students and the training of teaching staff, respectively. Professor AIDARALIEV Asylbek Akmatbekovich expressed the willingness to cooperate with FAH in international medical student training and clinician internship. Bilateral sides discussed the possibility and pattern of cooperation in the future.

This visit deepens FAH’s understanding of general profile and cooperation needs of International University of Kyrgyzstan, hoping to conduct more extensive and in-depth exchanges in international medical field between bilateral sides in the future.
