In order to promote the exchange of Chinese and Korean talents in hygiene and health fields and enhance the friendly cooperation of large medical institutions between Chinese and Korean, a delegation of Red Cross Hospital of Seoul, Korea visited China from September 10 to 14, highlighting the exchange in hospital management, development of clinical disciplines and cooperation and cultivation of talents in medicine and health and other matters. On September 12, a delegation with nine members from Red Cross Hospital of Seoul, Korea visited the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University due to comprehensive strength of the hospital takes the lead in the northwest region.
Assistant to President She Junjun extended a warm welcome to the delegation on behalf of the hospital, and held a symposium at Administrative Building. At the symposium, Assistant She Junjun acted as a presenter and invited following colleagues to attend, including Ren Hui, Deputy Director of International Exchange Office and Mao Huiping, Deputy Director of Office of President and Party Committee and Wang Caiyan, Nurse in charge of International Medical Center. Assistant She Junjun first introduced the hospital to the delegation from historical development, development scale, specialty features, discipline construction and other aspects, and expected to take this visit and exchange as an opportunity to promote mutual exchange and cooperation. Mr. Tian Qingzhi, Vice President of Red Cross Hospital of Seoul, Korea, introduced the history of exchange and cooperation between Red Cross Hospital of Seoul, Korea and Chinese hospitals, and praised the long history, advanced medical facilities and technologies of our hospital, and expressed his desire to further cooperate with our hospital.
After the symposium, the Korean delegation visited the history gallery of the hospital, and relevant responsible person of Propaganda Department, through graphic and text presentation, article layout, sand table models and video data etc, comprehensively introduced the development history and main achievements of the hospital to the delegation. Afterwards, under the guidance of responsible persons of International Exchange Office and International Medical Center of our hospital, the delegation visited the Inpatient Department and Outpatient Department and International Medical Center, and learnt the clinical work. At the end of the visit, the Korean delegation rode to Hospital Area of Daxingshan Temple. Qiao Jin, Director of Department of Rehabilitation Medicine and Zhang Wei of General Office came to express a warm welcome and gratitude for the coming of the Korean delegation, and accompanied them to visit Hospital Area of Daxingshan Temple, and introduced the Outpatient Department, wards and characteristic treatment zones. In addition, expert members experienced the training of Pilates devices, making visiting experts enjoy the fun of active rehabilitation in interaction.
The Korean delegation highly praised the spirit of doctors’ saving the lives and brilliant history, admired the graceful environment and good facilities of International Medical Center. They also were deeply impressed by the humanized design and characteristic treatment method of Hospital Area of Daxingshan Temple under the philosophy of “combination of Buddhism and medicine”. The delegation member expressed heartfelt thanks for the warm reception of our hospital, and wished to strengthen exchange and cooperation with our hospital in medical technologies, scientific research and talent cultivation and international medical services as well as other aspects.
