From July 13 to 16, 2023, the 3rd Annual Academic Meeting of Professional Committee of Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Nursing of Chinese Association of Rehabilitation Medicine was held in Guiyang. The meeting comprises National Competition for Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Nursing Cases and rehabilitation nursing sub-forums of cardiac, respiratory and critical illness, covering excellent manuscript exchange and workshops, etc. More than 1,000 rehabilitation nursing practitioners nationwide attended the annual meeting.
Five cases from Nursing Department of the First Affiliated Hospital (FAH) of Xi'an Jiaotong University (XJTU) stood out from 330 cases in the national competition, and successfully passed preliminary screening and semi-finals, becoming the only hospital in Shaanxi province advancing to the finals and achieving excellent results. Finally, 1 case from Department of Cardiac Surgery grabbed the second prize, 1 case from Central ICU received the third prize, and 3 cases from Department of Rehabilitation, Department of Respiratory Diseases and Central ICU won the excellent prizes, respectively.
On July 15, Li Juanli, Deputy Head Nurse of Department of Cardiology of the FAH, chaired Cardiac Rehabilitation Forum as a member of Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Group of Professional Committee of Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation. In addition, she was invited to give a speech entitled "Influence of disease perception mediated by exercise fear on the rehabilitation compliance of patients after PCI". Yin Jiangmin, a cardiorespiratory specialist nurse from Department of Thoracic Surgery, delivered a presentation entitled "Application of intermittent lung rehabilitation training combined with new team support exercise group in patients with traumatic hemopneumothorax after VATS treatment" at Critical illness Early Rehabilitation Forum. Their intriguing speeches received widespread recognition from the participants.
