On April 1, 2023, the first tour lecture of Journal of Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nursing (JWOCN, Chinese version), was held in Xining. As Deputy Editor-in-Chief of this academic journal, Chief Nurse Qiao Lina from the First Affiliated Hospital (FAH) of Xi’an Jiaotong University (XJTU) attended the editorial board meeting and led the ostomy and wound nursing team of the hospital to attend the tour lecture. Qiao Lina delivered a lecture entitled "A new evaluation tool for clinical nurses' cognition of continence-related dermatitis-interpretation of -Know-IAD". The session of face-to-face exchanges with JWOCN editorial board members was also organized.

Wang Ling, Chairman of Professional Committee of Wound, Ostomy and Continence of Chinese Nursing Association served as Editor-in-Chief of Chinese version of JWOCN. Head Nurse Qiao Lina from Department of General Surgery of the FAH acted as one of Deputy Editor-in-Chief.
Since the launch of Chinese version of JWOCN in 2022, Qiao Lina has served as Deputy Editor-in-Chief to undertake the peer review of ostomy and continence manuscripts. Currently, two issues of 25 translated articles have been published, including 6 full texts and 19 abstracts, which have been highly recognized by readers.

JWOCN, as the official journal of WOCN, with an impact factor (IF) of 1.97, is an authoritative academic journal in the field of wound, ostomy and continence nursing around the world, mainly publishing qualified evidence-based and original research in the field of nursing and providing evidence for professional nursing services. To establish an academic and scientific research exchange platform in the field of wound, ostomy and continence nursing at home and abroad and to broaden global vision of Chinese professional practitioners, Professional Committee of Wound, Ostomy and Continence of Chinese Nursing Association introduced the Chinese version ofJWOCNto China, bringing concrete benefits to Chinese specialized nurses in the field of wound, ostomy and continence specialty, learning the frontier knowledge of international research, learning and utilizing scientific research methods, results and practical experience, elevating scientific management level of nursing, promoting high-quality development of nursing, safeguarding the health of peopleand striving to provide comprehensive full-course nursing services for patients.
