On the morning of March 29, 2023, the inaugural meeting of the 28th Council Branch Committees of Chinese Nursing Association was held in Beijing. Xin Xia, Director of Nursing Department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University (XJTU) hospital, continued to serve as Deputy Director of the 28th Professional Committee of Blood Purification Nursing, Li Jieqiong, Deputy Director of Nursing Department, and Duan Na, Head Nurse of Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine were newly appointed as Deputy Directors of the 28th Intensive Care Committee and Anesthesiology Nursing Committee of Chinese Nursing Association, respectively. Zhang Linjuan, Deputy Director of Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine, was elected as Secretary of Operating Room Committee. The nursing team from the hospital created breakthrough in holding important posts of Chinese Nursing Association, which will significantly enhance the academic influence of our hospital.
In the afternoon, the general election meeting of Editorial Board of the serial journals affiliated to Chinese Journal of Nursing Editorial Office was also held. Director Xin Xia continued to serve as a member of the new Editorial Board of Chinese Journal of Nursing, and Deputy Director Li Jieqiong was newly appointed as a member of the 2nd Editorial Board of Chinese Journal of Emergency and Critical Care Nursing.
In recent years, Xin Xia, Director of Nursing Department, led the nursing team to promote the development of nursing career from a global perspective, actively made explorations in building a high-quality and efficient nursing care system, improving the treatment level for critically ill patientsand strengthening the construction of nursing information, and achieved fruitful results. Subsequently, Nursing Department will grasp the rare opportunity of establishing National Medical Center to persistently strengthen the construction of nursing discipline, continually enhance the strength of nursing discipline, and contribute to high-quality development of our hospital.
