Professor Fu Junke participates in formulating China National Lung Cancer Screening Guideline with Low-dose Computed Tomography (2023 Version)

Recently, Professor Fu Junke, the academic leader from Department of Thoracic Surgery in the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University (XJTU), participated in formulating China National Lung Cancer Screening Guideline with Low-dose Computed Tomography (2023 Version), which was published in Chinese Journal of Lung Cancer. The expert consensus and guidelines published in this journal can lead the development direction of thoracic surgery throughout China.

The aim of this expert consensus is to revise China National Lung Cancer Screening Guideline with Low-dose CT (2018 Version). National Health Commission designated experts from Chinese Expert Group on Early Diagnosis and Treatment of Lung Cancer and China Western Research Cooperation Center for Lung Cancer to jointly participate in the revision of China national lung cancer screening guideline (2023 version), which is the first multinational expert consensus in the field of thoracic surgery. This expert guideline was formulated by relevant experts from Tianjin Lung Cancer Institute, Tianjin Medical University General Hospital, West China Hospital of Sichuan University, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, Peking Union Medical College, School of Population Medicine and Public Health, Huadong Hospital affiliated to Fudan University, Yunnan Cancer Hospital, the Third Affiliated Hospital of Kunming Medical University, Yunnan Cancer Center, Peking University Cancer Hospital, Cancer Hospital of Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, PLA General Hospital, Xiangya Hospital of Central South University, the Second Hospital of Dalian Medical University, Henan Cancer Hospital, Jilin Cancer Hospital and the First Affiliated Hospital of XJTU. According to the latest advances in low-dose CT screening of lung cancer at home and abroad combined with the epidemiology of lung cancer in China, relevant experts jointly formulated and revised this guideline.
