On August 15, the global integrative medicine exchange group speaking tour was held in Conference Room 3 at 8/F of the East Building 1 of our hospital.

This speaking tour was organized by Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, and co-organized by International Union of Integrative Medicine Theory and Practice for Chronic Diseases, holistic Integrative Medical Research Institute, holistic Integrative Health Research Institute, and the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi’an Jiaotong University, was held by Meiyi Dekang International Health Management (Beijing) Co., Ltd.

In the speech, President Shi Bingyin introduced the current situation of the hospital from establishment of the hospital, the history of development, social responsibility, implementation of health reform policies, medical care, education, scientific research, and talent cultivation, and shared the hospital management experience and the latest progress of academic research of the hospital.

Professor Sun Xingguo gave a report Overview of new theory system of holistic integrative physiology medicine: cardiac metabolism and other integrative regulations, in which, he mentioned that Integrative Medicine would be the main direction of future medical development, and it would integrate the sub-divisions again to set up a holistic view for medical treatment.

Later, the expert group also gave many other wonderful academic lectures,including“Overview of effective diagnosis and treatment project for patients with chronic diseases by cardiopulmonary exercise overall program”, “Perioperative period risk assessment for cardiopulmonary exercise among cancer patients”, “Chronic intermittent hypoxia and cardiovascular disease: neurogenic mechanism”, and “Applying cardiac motion in heart transplantation management”.
