From November 15 to 20, 2023, Yan Yang, Director of Department of Cardiovascular Surgery of the First Affiliated Hospital (FAH) of Xi’an Jiaotong University (XJTU), was invited to attend the 2nd annual meeting of European Endoscopic Cardiac Surgeons Club. At the meeting, he mainly learned about current progress in the application of thoracoscopic techniques in cardiovascular surgery worldwide, and conducted academic exchanges with medical colleagues from all over the world, aiming to better understand the latest achievements, concerns and future needs in the field of cardiovascular medicine.
