Yang Lin invited to attend the 25th Asian Society of Vascular Surgery (ASVS 2024)

Recently, the 25th Asian Society of Vascular Surgery (ASVS 2024) was successfully held in Bangkok, Thailand. Professor Yang Lin, deputy director of Department of Vascular Surgery in the First Affiliated Hospital (FAH) of Xi’an Jiaotong University (XJTU), was invited to participate in academic exchanges at the sub-venue, and share his team's recent achievements in vascular surgery and interventional therapy with global colleagues and peers. He also conducted in-depth exchanges with Professor E. verhoeven from Nuremberg General Hospital in Germany and Professor Wuttichai S from Thailand regarding disciplinary development and academic cooperation.

ASVS is the largest academic event of vascular disease surgery and interventional therapy in Asia, which is held once every two years and hosted by the affiliation from the current chairman of ASVS. Each event captivates experts in the field of vascular surgery from Asia and all over the world for academic exchanges.

Since the establishment of Department of Vascular Surgery for nearly 10 years, with tremendous supports from former FAH leaders and under the leadership of director Lu Shaoying and former director Liu Jianlin, Department of Vascular Surgery has achieved significant progress in clinical, teaching and scientific research, with multiple indexes ranking among the top in the field of vascular surgery in China. Under the leadership of leaders of FAH and director of the department, all medical staff from Department of Vascular Surgery will continually work hard and contribute to the construction of National Medical Center.
