General information
Professor Wang Jintang is a master supervisor. He graduated from Beijing Medical University in 1974 with a bachelor's degree in medicine. He was the former Director of Department of Orthopedics of the First Affiliated Hospital of XJTU. Professor Wang has been engaged in orthopedics for nearly 40 years with abundant clinical experience.

Academic and scientific achievements
Wang Jintang published nearly 60 academic papers including 3 papers in SCI-indexed journals, 20 in the Journals of Chinese Medical Association, 4 in the international academic conferences. He participated in the editing of 4 books. He obtained 3 projects of the First Affiliated Hospital of XJTU, 2 Natural Science Foundation of Shaanxi Province, 1 Key Science and Technology Research Project of Shaanxi Province, and 1 National Natural Science Foundation of China.
Awards and honors
Professor Wang was awarded as Advanced Individual in the hospital and XJTU for many times and Excellent Member of medical aid team in foreign countries by National Health Commission. He won the title of Outstanding Teachers with Morality in China in 2008. He pioneered the development of CD-1 ultrasonic scalpel as the leader in China.
