General information
Yang Kangping graduated from Xi 'an Medical University Health Science Center in 1984. He is currently working in Department of Orthopedics of the First Affiliated Hospital of XJTU. He has taken the lead in minimally invasive spinal surgery for lumbar disc herniation and spinal canal stenosis. He accumulates abundant clinical experience in the management of cervical spondylosis, spondylolisthesis, spinal canal stenosis and spinal tumor. He is the first to perform minimally invasive total hip arthroplasty in northwest China. He has cooperated with prestigious surgeons from the U.S. to perform bilateral knee joint surface replacement. He proposes a novel and modern concept for the diagnosis and treatment of complex limb injuries.

Academic and scientific achievements
Yang Kangping hosted 2 Key Scientific Research Project of Shaanxi Province, 1 Scientific Research Fund Project of Shaanxi Health Commission, 1 scientific research project of Spine Society of Shaanxi Medical Association and 1 scientific research project of the First Affiliated Hospital of XJTU. He has been engaged in orthopedic clinical work, teaching and scientific research for nearly 40 years. He published more than 20 academic papers, translated 2 monographs, edited 2 audio-visual textbooks of National Health Commission, and hosted 2 New Medical Treatment and Technology projects.
