Academic and scientific achievements

Feng Weiyi has presided over 3 projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China, 4 Major Science and Technology Sub-projects in the 11^th Five-Year Plan and research projects at the provincial and ministerial levels, and participated in more than 10 projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China and National High-tech Research and Development Program (863 Program). He has published more than 30 academic papers including 16 papers published in top-notched SCI-indexed journals. He has obtained 6 national invention patents, and has participated in editing 1 monograph.

Awards and honors

Feng Weiyi has received "Outstanding Pharmacist Award" of Chinese Pharmaceutical Association in 2015 and "Innovator Award" by Cleveland Clinic Foundation, an authoritative institution for cardiovascular disease treatment in the United States in 2006. As one of the six winners, he obtained "Travel Award" of the 11^th Biennial Midwest Platelet Conference held in Chicago in 2006. Feng Weiyi has obtained Bernadine Healy Award in 2007, the highest award for the 2006-2007 postdoctoral research dissertation of Molecular Cardiovascular Department of Cleveland Clinical Foundation. "Junior Investigator Award Finalist" by the North American Vascular Biology Organization (NAVBO) at 2008 Experimental Biology was held in San Diego in April, 2008, and Feng Weiyi was one of the eight winners in North America.
