Zheng Xin is a Doctor of Surgery and doctoral tutor. From 2010 to 2011, he studied in Mayo Clinic (MN) in the U.S. to receive joint doctoral training in the field of the molecular mechanism of hepatocellular carcinoma, jointly funded by China Scholarship Council and Taiwan's Kwang-Hua Education Foundation. At present, he is mainly engaged in the research on apoptosis-related signal pathways of hepatocellular carcinoma and minimally invasive surgery. He has been working in Department of Hepatobiliary Surgery for years, and has mastered the standard surgical treatment of various common diseases in the field of hepatobiliary surgery. He is responsible for minimally invasive interventional treatment and emergency interventional hemostasis treatment of hepatobiliary tumors in Department of Hepatobiliary Surgery.

Zheng Xin has published 20 articles in SCI-indexed journals as corresponding author or the first author, with a total impact factor of over 80 points. He has undertaken 2 National Natural Science Foundation of China projects, 2 Scientific and Technological Research Projects of Shaanxi Province, 1 doctoral fund project of the Ministry of Education, and 1 Basic Scientific Research Expenses of Central Universities of XJTU.
