Professor Wang Zheng is Doctor of Medicine, research fellow, doctoral tutor, and Deputy Director of Department of Hepatobiliary Surgery and Director of surgical ICU. He graduated from Xi 'an Jiaotong University and studied at the Pancreatic Cancer Center of Johns Hopkins Hospital from 2007 to 2008. He is proficient in diagnosis and treatment of hepatobiliary and pancreatic diseases, focusing on clinical diagnosis and treatment, severe treatment and multidisciplinary cooperation of acute and chronic pancreatitis, pancreatic tumors (neuroendocrine, pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma, etc.), and accumulated abundant experience. He has conducted minimally invasive treatment of acute pancreatitis and multidisciplinary diagnosis and treatment of pancreatic tumors and relevant outcomes have been discussed in multiple conferences in China.

Professor Wang has undertaken 2 National Natural Science Foundation of China, 1 key project of Shaanxi province and 2 provincial scientific research projects. He has published more than 50 articles including 25 published in SCI-indexed journals as the first author or corresponding author, such as The Lancet, Clinical Cancer Research and British Journal of Cancer, and delivered academic exchanges in pancreas-related conferences at home and abroad.

Professor Wang has received honorary titles including Young Expert of National Health System, May 4^th Youth Medal of Shaanxi Province, the first prize of Chinese Young Surgeon, second prize of Perioperative Management of the Right Liver Competition, Young Rising Starin Science and Technology of Shaanxi Province, Outstanding Young Scholar Award of American Pancreatic Association, etc.
