Professor Liu has published 11 monographs or textbooks as chief editor in 4, associate chief editor in 3 and editor in 4, including the 12^th Five-Year Plan textbook and the textbook of Expert Committee of Textbook Construction of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (bilingual). She has undertaken 2 international cooperation projects, 1 National Natural Science Foundation project and 4 scientific research projects at the provincial and ministerial levels. She has published 56 academic articles, including 18 articles published in SCI-indexed journals. She has won the second prize for Scientific and Technological Progress Award of Shaanxi Province, the second prize for Scientific and Technological Progress Award of Education Department of Shaanxi Provincial Government and the second prize for Excellent Teaching Achievements of Shaanxi Province.

Professor Liu has been awarded as Outstanding Individual in Teaching and Education, Excellent Individual in Teaching Management, Excellent Teacher, Excellent Party Memberof Xi’an Jiaotong University. She has won the first prize for the Teaching Competition of Xi’an Jiaotong University.
