Professor Zhang Mei has successively hosted 12 projects including 1 NSFC project, 1 project of Major Shaanxi Science and Technology Coordination Project, 10 programs of Shaanxi Province Research Foundation. So far, she has published more than 80 academic papers, including more than 40 SCI and Medline papers. She was the editor-in-chief of 6 teaching materials and books.

Professor Zhang Mei won Shaanxi Provincial Prize for Progress in Science and Technology for four times, including the second prize for two times in 2012 and 2016.
