Professor Zhang Quanfa has been engaged in clinical, teaching and scientific research work for more than 50 years. He is skilled in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases, and is good at the diagnosis and treatment of various cardiovascular diseases. In particular, he has unique views on cardiogenic syncope and artificial cardiac pacing technology. He has high attainments in interventional therapy of heart diseases, especially the diagnosis and treatment of arrhythmia (endovascular electrophysiological diagnosis, permanent pacemaker implantation). He was the first to carry out the interventional diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular disease implantation with pacemaker in northwest China.

Professor Zhang has published more than 50 papers and 3 monographs in domestic and foreign professional magazines. He has served as the leader of pacemaker group of Shaanxi Pacemaker Electrophysiology Society.  

Professor Zhang has won 3 scientific awards from Ministry of Health, Shaanxi provincial government and Shaanxi provincial education committee.
