Wang Yuan is a doctoral tutor with Doctoral degree. In 2003, he graduated from of Xi 'an Jiaotong University (XJTU) Health Science Center, majoring in radiology, received the honorary title of Excellent Graduate Student of XJTU and worked in Department of Radiology of the First Affiliated Hospital (FAH) of XJTU in 2006, obtained doctoral degree from XJTU Health Science Center in 2014, majoring in radiology and nuclear medicine, studied at the University of Maryland, Baltimore as a visiting fellow from January 2016 to January 2017, selected as a member of the 4th "Climbing Program" Project for Young and Middle-aged Radiologists by Chinese Association of Radiologists of Chinese Medical Doctor Association in 2019 (American Institute for Radiologic Pathology is the training institution).

Academic and scientific achievements
Wang Yuan has hosted 1 youth project and 1 surface project of National Natural Science Foundation of China, 2 Scientific Research Project of Shaanxi Province, 1 Xi' an Scientific Research Project, and multiple scientific research projects of the FAH and XJTU, published more than 40 articles as the first or corresponding author, including 20 articles in SCI-indexed journals, among which 3 articles related to trigeminal neuralgia published in the top-notched journals including Pain, Journal of Pain and Cephalalgia, and obtained 1 national invention patent as the first applicant.
Awards and honors
Wang Yuan received the honorary titles of Advanced Individual in Medical Aid of the FAH of XJTU in 2020 and Excellent Teachers for International Students in China in 2021.
