Professor Liu Jun is a master's tutor, graduated from medical department of former Xi'an Medical University and studied at Adventist Hospital in Washington, USA for more than a year. He has been engaged in medical, teaching and scientific research in medical imaging diagnosis for more than 30 years.

Academic and scientific achievements

Professor Liu Jun revised the first textbook and monograph in the country: the National Health and Family Planning Committee's "13^th Five-Year Plan" textbook Introduction to Digital Medicine, Image Section Anatomy and Soft Tissue Disease Imaging Diagnosis. He served as deputy editor-in-chief or participated in the compilation of 23 monographs, including the 11th volume of the frontier of the project, Status quo and Future of Digital Medicine, and the national 12^th Five-Year Plan textbook, Local Anatomy. He also published more than 200 papers.

 

Awards and honors

Professor Liu Jun received one of the medical achievement awards from the Adventist Hospital in Washington, USA, two third prizes for the scientific and technological progress of the Shaanxi Provincial Government, the second prize for the scientific and technological progress of the Shaanxi Provincial Health Department, and the second prize for the scientific and technological progress of Xi'an Municipal Government, and the above mentioned awards are ranked first. He was awarded the title of “Famous Doctor” by Xi'an Jiaotong University. He has been rated as outstanding teacher, outstanding researcher and advanced worker.
