General information
Professor Xu is the Director of Gastroenterology Department, Director of the Training Base of Gastroendoscopy Physicians of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association. He is an Australian UTS visiting scholar and has trained more than 70 graduate students.

Professor Xu has hosted or participated in 8 national and provincial scientific research projects, in 5 hospital new medical technologies, and has published over 70 papers in academic journals at home and abroad. He is an editor in chief of 2 monographs.
Awards and honors
Professor Xu has won 2 Awards of Scientific and Technological Achievements of Shaanxi Education Commission and Xi’an Government, and has got 1 National Invention Patent.
