On November 14, 2020, Hospital Management Institute of Fudan University released the "2019 China’s Hospital Specialist Reputation Ranking List". Department of Psychiatry of the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi 'an Jiaotong University (XJTU) received the national nomination on the "2019 China’s Hospital Specialist Reputation Ranking List", ranking 11th in China and moving up 2 places compared with last year!
Since 2010, the ranking list organized by Hospital Management Institute of Fudan University has been released for consecutive 11 times. As an independent third party, Hospital Management Institute of Fudan University utilized the evaluation system of "industry reputation and scientific research output", comprehensively considered the key factors, such as discipline construction, clinical technology and medical quality and scientific research level, and delivered the evaluation through questionnaire survey. Multiple experts and scholars from major clinical specialized institutions in China, mainly national members of various professional committees of Chinese Medical Association and chairmen of different professional committees of medical associations at the province, municipality directly under the Central Government and autonomous region levels were responsible for the assessment. The evaluation results have been widely recognized by the medical industry, becoming a benchmark for hospital discipline construction in China. The ranking list is often regarded as important reference for patients with complicated and critical diseases to find a hospital with high reputation.
In recent decades, medical staff in Department of Psychiatry of our hospital have united and adhered to the concept of "Openness, Tolerance, Cooperation and Win-win", and rapidly elevated the discipline strength. Currently, it is a master's and doctoral degree program in the discipline of Psychiatry and Mental Hygiene, the first batch of new drug clinical trial institutions in China, National Standardized Training Base for Resident Physicians, standing committee affiliation of Society of Psychiatry of Chinese Medical Association, standing committee affiliation of Professional Committee of Psychiatrists of Chinese Medical Doctor Association, leading affiliation of standing committee of Society of Psychiatry of Shaanxi Medical Association, leading affiliation of standing committee of Psychiatry Branch of Shaanxi Medical Association, leading affiliation of standing committee of Shaanxi Mental Health Association, affiliated affiliation of Quality Control Center for Mental Disease of Shaanxi Province, Clinical Research Center for Mental Disease of Shaanxi Province, Innovation Team for Mental Disease of Shaanxi Province, Depression and Sleep Disorder Education Base of Chinese Medical Doctor Association, the only Psychiatry Training Base of Western Talent Training Plan of National Health Commission in the west, National Demonstration Base for Diagnosis and Treatment of Depression and National Demonstration Base for Liaison Consultation for Psychiatry in Tertiary Hospitals.
