On September 19, 2020, the inaugural meeting of Professional Committee of Urology of Shaanxi International Medical Exchange Promotion Association in conjunction with the Urology Summit Forum in Western China organized by Shaanxi International Medical Exchange Promotion Association and the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi 'an Jiaotong University (XJTU) successfully concluded in Xi 'an, the capital of 13 ancient Chinese dynasties.
Chen Zhao, former Deputy Director of Health Commission of Shaanxi Province and President of Shaanxi International Medical Exchange Promotion Association, Ma Xinge, Party Secretary of the First Affiliated Hospital of XJTU, Liu Changjun, Deputy Director of Health and Sports Commission of Shaanxi Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, Zhang Lei, Secretary-General of Shaanxi Province Medical Association, Ma Xin, Deputy Director of Medical Administration and Hospital Management Bureau of Health Commission of Shaanxi Province, and Wang Ning, Secretary-General of Shaanxi International Medical Exchange Promotion Association attended the inaugural meeting. Zhang Zheng, Chief Physician of Department of Urology of Peking University First Hospital, Zhang Yaoguang, Chief Physician of Department of Urology of Beijing Hospital, Yang Xiaojian, Chief Physician of Department of Urology of Xijing Hospital of Air Force Medical University, Li Xudong, Deputy Chief Physician of Department of Urology of the First Affiliated Hospital of XJTU, and over 100 urologists, professors and clinical colleagues from medical institutions in Shaanxi Province were invited to attend the summit forum.
The meeting was presided over by Wang Ning. Ma Xinge delivered a speech. Ma Xin announced the approval document of Professional Committee of Urology. Li Xudong introduced the preparatory process of Professional Committee of Urology.
Professional Committee of Urology of Shaanxi International Medical Exchange Promotion Association was officially established. Li Lei was elected as Honorary Chairman, Li Xudong as Chairman, Xu Xiaofeng, Liu Fei, Ni Feng, Qu Weixing, Du Yuefeng and Chen Qi as Deputy Directors. The successful establishment of Professional Committee of Urology contributes to the prosperous development of urology in Shaanxi Province and the construction of "Healthy Shaanxi, Healthy China".
During the meeting, Zhang Lei, Director of Health Service Center of Health Commission of Shaanxi Province, and Chen Zhao delivered speeches, respectively.
In Urology Summit Forum in Western China, Zhang Zheng, Chief Physician of Department of Urology of Peking University First Hospital, Zhang Yaoguang, Chief Physician of Department of Urology of Beijing Hospital, Yang Xiaojian, Chief Physician of Department of Urology of Xijing Hospital of Air Force Medical University, and Li Xudong, Deputy Chief Physician of Department of Urology of the First Affiliated Hospital of XJTU, gave academic presentations entitled "Patient-centered BPK system thinking—discussion on LUTS treatment pattern", "Series studies of multidisciplinary cooperation on perioperative management of pheochromocytoma", "Experience of Robot-assisted removal of inferior vena cava tumor thrombosis" and “Establishment of community model of NB urinary system infection”, respectively.
