To arouse the public fundamental concern and attention to the standardized treatment of skin diseases and scientific skin care, and radically avoid the risk of “diseases arising from the skin”, the article-soliciting activity of Science Popularization Contest scheduled to kick off on May 25, 2020, National Skin Health Day, themed with “Safeguard Skin Health, Prevent Disease Attack, Fight against COVID-19” organized by China Dermatologist Association (CDA) of Chinese Medical Doctor Association andThe Newspaper for China’s Physicians, sponsored by Toutiao,Sina Medicine,Tencent Health,Medical Doctor Weekly, and Umer Physician was launched as planned on March 26.

This is the second collaboration of article-soliciting activity between The Newspaper for China’s Physicians and CDA. During the past two months from March 26 to May 20, a total of 1012 articles have been submitted from 338 authors from 243 medical institutions, covering skin health care, application of cosmetics and prevention and treatment of common and frequently-occurring diseases,etc.

After comprehensive assessment by Expert Committee of CDA, 1 first prize, 1 second prize, 1 third prize and 8 Excellence Awards, 20 Winning Awards and Top Ten Excellent Team were selected. Department of Dermatology of the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi’an Jiaotong University (XJTU) grabbed the Top Ten Excellent Team award.
