On the afternoon of December 11, 2024, Azhar Giniyat, president of Kazakhstan National Children's Hospital, vice president Aigul Altynbekova and Ismail Daurov, physician from China-Kazakhstan Traditional Medicine Center, were invited to visit the First Affiliated Hospital (FAH) of Xi’an Jiaotong University (XJTU) for academic exchanges. Wei Yuanbin, vice president of Xi'an TCM Hospital of Encephalopathy, Wang Hui, director of International Exchange and Cooperation Center, deputy director Cui Yanchao and the backbone of related disciplines from Department of Rehabilitation Medicine in Xingshan Temple District of FAH accompanied the delegate for academic visit.

Therapist Quan Lu explicitly introduced neurological rehabilitation, orthopedic rehabilitation, medical sports rehabilitation and traditional Chinese medicine rehabilitation in the outpatient and inpatient areas of Xingshan Temple District in FAH to president Azhar Giniyat and her delegate. President Azhar Giniyat and her delegate observed relevant rehabilitation techniques on the spot, learned about the use of rehabilitation equipment in FAH, and conducted in-depth exchanges with corresponding therapists in different areas.

After the visit, bilateral sides exchanged souvenirs and gifts. President Azhar Giniyat expressed sincere gratitude to FAH for warm reception and highly recognized the overall layout of re-diagnosis and treatment area and the practice of humanistic care for patients in Xingshan Temple District, hoping that bilateral sides can strengthen academic exchanges and mutual learning for the benefits of more patients in China and Kazakhstan in the near future.
