From May 24 to 26, 2024, the 8th International Forum on Drug-induced Liver Injury in conjunction with the 9th National Conference on Drug-induced Liver Injury were held in Xiamen. At the meeting, prestigious experts and scholars at home and abroad delivered keynote speeches regarding new progress in the field of drug-induced liver injury, especially anti-tumor drug-induced liver injury in recent years, and released the 2024 primary care version of "Chinese Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Drug-induced Liver Injury".

On behalf of Professor He Yingli’s team from Department of Infectious Diseases of the First Affiliated Hospital (FAH) of Xi'an Jiaotong University (XJTU), Physician Ren Danfeng and Physician Zhu Li presented the diagnosis and treatment of a patient with drug-induced liver injury caused by amoxicillin and clavulanate potassium in the session of "DILI-CHINA Case Competition", which received widespread recognition and grabbed the first prize.

This meeting strengthens academic exchange and ideological collision among hospitals between Northwest and South China, which contributes to promoting the construction of Regional Medical Center and strengthening the influence of Department of Infectious Diseases of FAH in the field of drug-induced liver injury across China.
