On March 10, 2024, the general election meeting of the 5th Committee of Nuclear Medicine Physician Branch of Chinese Medical Doctor Association was successfully held in Shanghai. At this meeting, Yang Aimin, Director of Department of Nuclear Medicine of the First Affiliated Hospital (FAH) of Xi’an Jiaotong University (XJTU) was elected as the Standing Committee Member.
Director Yang Aimin serving as the Standing Committee Member further enhanced the level and discipline influence of the nuclear medicine team in FAH, provided an opportunity for the nuclear medicine team to better cooperate and communicate with the nuclear medicine community in Shaanxi province and even the whole country, and contributed to promoting the construction of National Medical Center and National Regional Medical Center.
In recent years, under the leadership of Director Yang Aimin, Department of Nuclear Medicine has entered the stage of rapid transformation and development, introduced new radionuclides integrating diagnosis and treatment, and conducted local transformation of multiple novel molecular probes, and obtained a large quantity of high-quality scientific research achievements, which have been highly recognized by nuclear medicine peers in Shaanxi province and China.
Nuclear Medicine Physician Branch is the second-level organization of Chinese Medical Doctor Association, a national mainstream society, which is committed to strengthening the construction and management of nuclear medicine physicians, safeguarding their legitimate rights and interests, organizing relevant activities of Nuclear Medicine Physician Branch, publicizing laws, regulations and policies related to nuclear medicine, practicing medicine according to laws, disseminating nuclear medicine technology and knowledge, constantly improving the medical level and service quality of nuclear medicine physicians, and making positive contributions to people's health.
