On December 15, 2023, the finals of the 3rd Medical Science and Technology Innovation Competition-Smart Medicine and Elderly Health Session, hosted by National Health Commission, was concluded in Chengdu. The project entitled "Establishment of artificial intelligence-based all-in-one auxiliary diagnosis workstation for endometrial cancer screening" by the First Affiliated Hospital (FAH) of Xi'an Jiaotong University (XJTU) received the second prize in the national finals.
Professor Li Qiling from Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of FAH is Chief Expert of this project. FAH was cooperated with Xi'an Meijiajia Medical Technology Co., Ltd. to complete industrial transformation. Meantime, Professor Wang Jianliu from Peking University People's Hospital, Huawei Ascend Artificial Intelligence Ecological Innovation Center, Professor Shi Guizhi from Chinese Academy of Sciences, Professor Zhong Dexing and PhD Wang Ruijie from School of Automation Science and Engineering of XJTU, and other well-known experts and team members also participated in this project.
The cytological screening system of endometrial cancer led by Professor Li Qiling has formed a closed-loop system with high accuracy and convenience, which provides robust support for clinical diagnosis. The achievements of this project not only showcase remarkable strength in the field of medical science and technology research and development of FAH, but also provides potent support for technological innovation and industrial transformation of medical industry in China.
This project is another significant achievement of FAH in industrial transformation of medical engineering project. In the future, FAH will continually adhere to the people-oriented and scientific and technological innovation concept, actively participate in national innovation competitions, and make due contribution to the development of health undertakings in China.
