Recently, Guo Jianxin, Chief Technician from Department of Radiology of the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi’an Jiaotong University (XJTU) received the "Special Contribution Award of 2022 People's Good Doctor (Imaging Technology)", which recognized the leading role of imaging technology specialty of our hospital in science, teaching, research and clinical aspects. In total, only 18 outstanding talents were selected as the awardees of this activity.

This activity was hosted by People's Health of People.cn, and launched based on People's Good Doctor app of People's Daily and Chinese Society of Imaging Technology of Chinese Medical Association, aiming to carry forward the lofty professionism of saving lives, selfless dedication during COVID-19 pandemic, encourage doctors to play a positive guiding role and actively promote sound development of medical imaging technology in China.

In this year's selection activity, People's Good Doctor app set up online and in-person registration channels. Prestigious societies (associations) and public hospitals were invited to deliver simultaneous recommendations. After preliminary selection of the organizers, evaluation of expert committee and online publicity, the awardees were finally selected by Expert Committee of People's Good Doctor (Imaging Technology) among national medical imaging technicians.
