Yang Lin has presided over 2 projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China, 3 Key Science and Technology Research Projects and Natural Science Foundation Projects of Ministry of Education and Shaanxi Province. He has obtained 2 patents, edited 1 monograph as the deputy editor-in-chief, and published more than 40 academic papers including 15 published in SCI-indexed journals. In 2013, he first published the RCT results of high-frequency microwave therapy for venous diseases on European Journal of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery (EJVES). In 2018, he for the first time compared the efficacy of different anatomical stents for stroke onJournal of Endovascular Therapy (JEVT).

Yang Lin has obtained Xi 'an Science and Technology Progress Award, Science and Technology Award for Integrative Medicine of Shanghai and Science and Technology Award for Traditional Chinese Medicine of Shanghai for 3 times and Chinese Young Surgeon and Scholar Award (the only vascular surgeon from Northwest China).
